Kinesiology Tape is an all-rounder!
We all know Kinesiology Tape from famous athletes, but what exactly does the tape do? The tape is applied to your skin and will stay there until it falls off on its own (3 to 7 days).
By using different directions of traction while applying the tape to the affected area, the receptors in your skin react to these stimuli accordingly.
This can mean that muscles are getting activated or relaxed, this can help to relieve pain, the blood circulation will increase which helps your body to detox, and applied to a joint, the ligaments in the joint will be supported in stability.
The different colors help, too – red activates, blue cools or calms down, black and brown are neutral but supportive.
There is the perfect tape treatment for every need.  Let’s find the one for you!

Lymphatic Drainage – also known as Manual Lymphatic Drainage – is a special technique of medical massage. Our lymphatic system is our built-in detoxifier and is working constantly to clear out bacteria, toxins and excess fluid. It is responsible for 90% of all fluid regulations in our body. Sometimes this system needs a little help. The therapist stimulates the flow of the lymph fluid by using specific, gentle grip techniques. This is ideal to relieve pain, reduce swelling after a medical treatment or injury and helps your body to detox. After the drainage you can expect a reduction in swelling, puffiness or bloated areas as well as pain reduction. What can you do additionally? Stay active and hydrated – your body will thank you.

Scars can be “in the way”.
Keeping a scar from an injury can be unpleasant in many ways. Not just in the esthetical way, but also in a functional way.
They can cause limited range of motion in a joint, they can limit the lymphatic flow and cause a swelling, they can be the reason for numbness or can even hurt.
There are many ways to treat a scar. Depending on the scar tissue and your goal, we use Cross Friction Massage, Cupping, Mobilization, Taping or Myofascial Release. We can even add Arnica Cream to help reduce inflammation and swelling.

Cupping is a form of alternative medicine in which special cups are placed on the skin to create suction. This practice is believed to promote blood flow, reduce pain and inflammation, and enhance relaxation and well-being. Cupping is often used as part of traditional Chinese medicine but has also been incorporated into various wellness and therapeutic practices worldwide. The suction created by the cups can be generated using heat (fire cupping) or mechanical devices (dry cupping), and the procedure can leave temporary marks or bruises on the skin.
